Summary

Join MedVA as a Part-time Bookkeeper/Office Assistant! We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with extensive QuickBooks® Online experience to manage financial records, perform general office tasks, and support the Office Manager. A CPA is preferred but not required for candidates with strong bookkeeping expertise. This is a work-from-home position offering a competitive hourly rate and benefits including in-house medical benefits (after 6 months), quality training, and a permanent work-from-home setup.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with QuickBooks® Online
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • A go-getter mindset with the ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Proven track record of success and reliability in previous roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks® Online, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform general office tasks, including organizing files, handling correspondence, and managing schedules
  • Support the Office Manager in administrative duties and act as a key assistant in daily operations
  • Assist with data entry, account reconciliation, and other bookkeeping tasks as needed
  • Proactively identify and address areas for operational improvement
  • Handle ad hoc administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth office functionality
