Bookkeeper

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Microsoft Office suite
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced company
• 3+ years exp. in North American companies, experience in multi-currency and multi-entity preferred
• Previous experience working in the North American time zone
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good organizational and time management skills
• A team player, with a positive and collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial bookkeeping activities such as recording daily transactions and filing documents
• Communicate with other departments as needed to obtain verification and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end close and reporting, such as account reconciliations, and journal entries
• Organize and maintain files for accounting records
• Prepare GST/ PST filings
• Allocates time to work independently as well as in collaboration with others
• Assist with other projects or tasks as assigned
