Business Analyst 3

Summary

Join our team as a Business Analyst 3 and work remotely from Richmond, VA on a 12+ month contract. Collaborate with an agile software development team, focusing on user acceptance testing (UAT). You will be responsible for story writing, requirements gathering, UAT planning, script writing, and testing. Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with stakeholders at all levels. Proven experience in business systems analysis and UAT testing for medium to large projects is required, along with proficiency in Agile practices. This role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a UAT tester and/or business systems analyst for medium to large projects
• 5 Years
• Able to communicate and collaborate with agile delivery teams, other technical staff, business partners and vendors
• 5 Years
• Experience coordinating and preparing system users for UAT testing
• 5 Years
• Able to identify test scenarios from business requirements
• 5 Years
• Able to translate use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria into test scripts
• 5 Years
• Able to identify and track defects and retest upon correction
• 5 Years
• Able to accurately define and capture business requirements
• 5 Years
• Able to document business processes and data flow diagrams
• 5 Years
• Able to identify and document project risks and actions to mitigate risks
• 5 Years
• Able to track requirements throughout SDLC lifecycle
• 5 Years
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, VISIO, Draw.io, ADO, X-Ray, JIRA and Confluence
• 5 Years
• Analytical and able to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems
• 5 Years
• Ability to meet deadlines with minimal direct supervision

Responsibilities
