Summary
Join the Province of New Brunswick's CIS - Clinical Information Solution team as a Business Analyst Level 3! This remote contract position, lasting until January 22, 2027 (with potential extension and conversion to full-time), requires a strong ability to collaborate with clinical experts, gather requirements, and design facilitation sessions. You will create and maintain detailed documentation, conduct comprehensive analysis, and support the development and implementation of a clinical standardization project. The role involves working with both client and development teams, authoring test case specifications, and contributing to Agile practices. Travel to New Brunswick at least once a month is required.
Requirements

- Complete the Department's Privacy Training prior to commencing the assignment
Responsibilities
- Deliver a detailed review of existing business requirements
- Collaborate with clinical experts to gather input and insights for the development and refinement of clinical standards
- Design and develop facilitation sessions to validate the existing requirements and collect net new business and information technology requirements, including gap analysis
- Create and maintain detailed process and solution documentation, including workflows, use cases, user guides, and training materials, to ensure seamless adoption of clinical standards
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of business and client requirements to support the development, operations, and deployment of the clinical standardization project; recommend and implement solutions to achieve defined objectives, monitoring their effectiveness
- Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure the smooth delivery and implementation of the clinical standardization project, including effective communication plans for stakeholders
- Support the software development team
- Work with both client and development team members to elicit requirements, write user stories, define goals, document requirements, and analyze business functions to become familiar with the business domain
- Identify business workflows and determine stakeholder needs
- Author test case specifications, requirements traceability documentation, and contribute to the compilation and execution of test plans
- Support and contribute to the Agile practices adopted by the development team
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to travel to the province of New Brunswick at least once a month throughout the project duration
