Join Qonto as a Business Development & Partnerships Lead (NL) to establish and grow strategic partnerships, accelerating Qonto's expansion in the Netherlands. You will be the first dedicated partnerships professional in the Netherlands, working closely with the Senior Partnerships Business Developer and the Netherlands team. This role involves conducting market research, building a partnership pipeline, leading negotiations, driving brand building initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position offers a pivotal opportunity to shape Qonto's partnership strategy in a new market, utilizing data-driven frameworks and proven methodologies from other European markets. Your manager will be Stefanie Dorster, a Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager with extensive experience in strategic partnerships across fintech and financial services. The ideal candidate will possess 3-4+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances, native-level Dutch, excellent English, and a deep understanding of the Dutch business landscape.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-4+ years in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances, ideally within banking/fintech, SaaS, or consulting
- Language Skills: Native-level Dutch speaker with excellent English proficiency
- Market Knowledge: Understanding of Dutch business landscape and B2B relationship navigation
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify mutually valuable partnership opportunities and structure beneficial deals
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Thrive in ambiguous environments and excited about establishing Qonto's partnership presence in a new market
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify and map the most strategic partnership opportunities in the Dutch market
- Build and manage a robust partnership pipeline with a target of signing several strategic partnerships
- Lead end-to-end partnership negotiations from initial outreach through contract signing
- Drive brand building initiatives through partnership channels, increasing Qonto's visibility in the Netherlands business ecosystem
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure partnership integrations align with business objectives
