Summary

Join Pelmorex as a Business Development & Client Partner for the domestic and international alerting business. Drive business development, manage your business pipeline, secure deals, conduct market research, network with agencies, liaise with internal teams, act as a brand advocate, and represent the company professionally. Requires 5+ years of experience in business development, client management, product growth, pipeline development, and strategy, preferably in alerting/mass notification and safety solutions for governments and enterprises.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Business or equivalent level of experience
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, client management, product growth, pipeline development, and strategy, preferably in alerting/mass notification and safety solutions for governments and enterprises

Responsibilities

  • Drive business development by identifying and pursuing new opportunities to expand the client base
  • Manage your business pipeline, develop an ongoing key account plan and help create a strategy for driving growth for our alerting business
  • Secure deals and foster client relationships particularly with government agencies and enterprises
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential clients and develop strategies for client acquisition and presentations
  • Delivering persuasive presentations, inspiring and exciting clients with your ideas, knowing how to pivot in a conversation and answering difficult questions is what you excel in
  • Network and liaise with agencies to create partnerships and connections within the industry, including supporting agencies such as the United Nations
  • Partner with the product team to create, understand and present demos to potential clients
  • Act as a brand advocate for Pelmorex in the market with clients, industry events and partners
  • Liaise with finance, sales, legal, product and technology teams
  • Partner with internal teams to prepare proposals and submit tender response documents
  • Work closely with our legal and management team for contract negotiations
