Summary

Join a global leader in engagement solutions as a Business Development Director, based remotely in Singapore, Malaysia, or the Philippines. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients, building long-term relationships, and understanding their business strategies across Asia Pacific. Working with subject matter experts, you will create and execute solutions to help clients achieve their objectives. This role requires a high drive for sales conversion and experience working with large enterprise decision-makers. You will generate revenue, lead pre-sales activities, and inspire a team to achieve growth targets. The position involves managing complex sales cycles, leading RFP processes, and collaborating with internal teams.

Requirements

  • 5 + years of B2B sales experience, ideally targeting mid-sized to large companies (not limited to Fortune 1000)
  • Proven ability to manage complex, high-value sales cycles (12–24 months)
  • Strong network within the Philippines; broader APAC connections (Singapore, Malaysia) a plus
  • Strong consultative sales approach β€” not short-cycle, transactional selling
  • Experience leading RFP and tender processes
  • Ability to build a pipeline from scratch and quickly form internal and external networks
  • Comfortable with extensive research, prospecting, and structured daily activities
  • Familiar with long-term deal structures, subscription fees, services, and solutions sales

Responsibilities

  • Generate annual revenue by signing multiple large deals with new brands across the Asia region
  • Plan and execute robust business growth strategies to achieve multi-million revenue targets
  • Lead business development activities and develop new opportunities with existing and new clients
  • Engage and manage clients at appropriate levels, including C-suite executives across different functions
  • Nurture relationships with existing clients to retain and expand accounts
  • Support the Managing Director, APAC with strategic alliances and partnerships
  • Generate self-sourced leads by identifying target organizations and key decision-makers in the Philippines and APAC markets
  • Build Points of View (POV) to personalize outreach and secure meetings
  • Conduct extensive smart research on target organizations and individuals
  • Manage long, consultative sales cycles (12–24 months)
  • Act as the main coordinator and leader during RFP and tender processes
  • Work closely with SMEs daily (Finance, Pricing, Technology, Client Servicing, Automotive, Channel Partner Engagement)
  • Track sales activities manually (Microsoft Teams, Outlook) alongside global Salesforce reporting
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed to secure opportunities
  • Collaborate within a culture of transparency, accountability, and teamwork
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, biweekly check-ins, quarterly reviews with Omar and Kevin, and an annual performance review

Preferred Qualifications

  • Career stability preferred (no pattern of frequent job changes every 2 years)
  • Background in HR or Tech Consulting highly preferred
