Summary

Join Cove, a rapidly expanding flexible living platform in Asia Pacific, as a Business Development Manager. Based in Korea/Japan, you will source residential leasing opportunities, conduct market analysis, manage deals with partners, and identify new submarkets for expansion. You will be responsible for financial projections, preparing rental proposals, leading negotiations, and coordinating cross-functional teams. This permanent role offers the flexibility to work remotely and requires a minimum of 7 years of real estate experience and a tertiary qualification in a related field. Requirements

  • Tertiary qualified in Real Estate, Business, Economics or a related field
  • A minimum of 7 years of working experience in real estate
  • End to end deal transaction experience from leading due diligence to legal documentation
  • Good business acumen and knowledge of current business trends
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical, detailed oriented, creative problem solver
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks to accomplish them effectively

Responsibilities

  • Source residential leasing opportunities, conduct property inspections, market, and pricing analysis
  • Manage competitor analyses process
  • Managing in drafting contracts and agreement
  • Managing deals process with Cove’s partners
  • Identify, evaluate, and justify new submarkets for Cove’s expansion
  • Conduct pro-forma financial projections and analysis
  • Structure and prepare rental proposals to landlords
  • Lead negotiations and tenancy agreement documentation process
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth property handover process
  • Develop market intelligence on the residential segment in Korea and maintain an internal database
  • Responsible for all BD best practice
  • Work closely with the cross functional teams to ensure smooth property onboarding
  • Review ongoing Underwriting, LoI, & Agreement
  • Weekly reporting and tracking of deals KPIs and performance

Preferred Qualifications

Strong preference for candidates with local market knowledge of the residential and/or hospitality landscape as well as candidates with strong existing network (across agents, landlords and developers) to source for real estate opportunities and experience handling big team
