Requirements

  • 3-5 years prior experience within a quota-carrying Sales role, ideally selling software - to include prospecting, forecasting and closing on net-new revenue
  • Prior experience preferred in partner development, strategic alliances, or business development within a related industry. Proven success in managing and scaling partner ecosystems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including problem-solving, attention to detail and technical skill
  • Demonstrated time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile team environment, collaborating across cross-functional teams as needed
  • In-depth understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to effectively position our company’s offerings and identify growth opportunities
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education, formal training, and related work experience

Responsibilities

  • Identify and recruit new reseller and referral partners that align with the company's business objectives and target markets
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with partner success, partner onboarding, partner enablement, sales, marketing, product management, and other teams to ensure alignment and maximize partnership opportunities
  • Support the closing of Strategic Partners through demos, RFPs, consultation and presentations
  • Be the first point of contract and triage for all partnerships related inbound inquiries; manage the inbound flow vetting and distributing partnership opportunities amongst the broader partnerships team
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to proactively identify new partnership prospects
  • Represent the company at partner events, conferences, and meetings to promote our brand and network with potential partners
