The position involves managing a sales pipeline, collaborating with team members, and traveling to meet prospects and attend industry events. Requirements
- Minimum three years of directly relevant professional experience in business development, account and relationship management
- Experience working with SaaS and subscription-based contracting mechanisms and sales processes
- Experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) and / or the digital services and platforms industry as well as Government
- Proficiency in Salesforce
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
- Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities within the Australia and New Zealand market through a combination of outbound calling, emailing
- Follow up on marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries, and opportunities generated by attending company events and webinars
- Manage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting to close and communicate any challenges or wins to the team
- Gain an understanding of the prospective customer's pain points and educate on Granicus' value
- Highlight our differentiators, effectively demoing the product over video conference, and guiding them through the sales process
- Confidently run product demos for decision-makers of companies varying across all levels of Government
- Work closely with team members to achieve sales goals and work collaboratively with our Product Team and Customer Success Team to support and set expectations for customers
- Travel within your territory to visit prospects and attend industry events as required as well as some interstate and overseas travel
