This remote and on-the-road position, based in Brisbane or North Queensland, focuses on expanding dealer listings and bringing new customers to the platform. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients, negotiating agreements, building client relationships, and reporting on sales activities and performance. Success in this role requires proven sales experience, ideally in the automotive classifieds industry, along with strong negotiation and influencing skills. The position offers the opportunity to work autonomously and contribute to the growth of a dynamic marketplace.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or customer acquisition roles, ideally within the automotive classifieds industry
  • Proven track record of sales success and growing customers at scale in fast-paced environments
  • Expertise in sales funnels, negotiation, and closing high-value deals
  • Strong self-starter attitude and ability to work autonomously
  • Familiarity with KPIs and performance metrics related to business development
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Valid drivers license

Responsibilities

  • Drive acquisition of new clients, negotiate agreements, and close high-value deals with automotive dealerships
  • Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with both new and existing clients to maximise opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services
  • Engage with key decision-makers within dealerships and dealer groups, aligning Drive’s solutions with their goals and needs
  • Maintain regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance against KPIs using Salesforce. Present regular updates to senior management
  • Achieve sales targets and dealer listings growth
  • Successfully influence and build relationships with decision-makers
  • Drive client satisfaction and engagement
  • Regularly report on pipeline progress, activity, and performance
