Summary

Join PIPECARE Europe, a part of the PIPECARE Group, as a Business Development Manager specializing in the oil and gas industry. You will focus on growing PIPECARE's customer base by introducing new clients to their in-line inspection services. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales plans, managing client relationships, conducting market analysis, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of experience in technical or sales roles within the oil and gas industry, and in-depth knowledge of oil and gas pipelines or inspection services. The position is remote, based in Europe (preferably France), and requires English and French fluency. PIPECARE offers a dynamic international role with training and support in pipeline inspection technologies and sales skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in technical, business, or a related fields
  • Experience in technical or sales roles within the oil and gas (energy) industry for 3+ years
  • In-depth knowledge of oil and gas pipelines or inspection services, and market dynamics
  • Analytical and pragmatic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, and willing to develop in negotiation, and presentation capabilities
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical and/or sales experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Remote (home office) job, living in Europe (preferably France)
  • Able to communicate in English and French, additional other languages is considered a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans, including forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring performance against targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction with our products and services
  • Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively offering solutions
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and potential risks
  • Analyze market data to develop and refine sales strategies, ensuring a competitive edge in the oil and gas sector
  • Assist in negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with organizational goals
  • Learn about contract management processes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination, particularly with the technical and operations teams to align sales efforts with delivery capabilities
