Join Xebia, a leading Software Engineering and IT consultancy, as a Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and driving revenue growth in European markets, particularly Poland and the Nordics. This role involves actively acquiring new customers, building a profitable portfolio, co-creating sales strategies, and collaborating with global alliances. You will leverage strategic client hunting, market analysis, and strong communication skills to uncover revenue opportunities and build long-term client relationships. Success in this position requires a proven track record in software services sales and a deep understanding of the cloud and data market.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software services selling to organizations of all sizes in Poland and international markets
- A proven track record of success and overachievement in winning opportunities and quota attainment
- Experience with the global deliver model including nearshoring and offshoring
- Ability to manage in a complex matrix environment and should be strong and focused on customer service excellence. Excellent relationship building skills
- Technology background in IT consulting/services or Software Engineering services company understanding the nitty-gritty of the latest technology stack
- Highly referenceable previous/current customers
- Strong solution selling background
- Legitimate and proven self-starter. Highly motivated to jump in and get things done
- Excellent leadership and communication skills. High comfort level working with all levels of an organization, including C-suite
- Proficiency in English and Polish
Responsibilities
- Actively acquire new customers in Polish and Nordics markets
- Take direct responsibility for building a profitable portfolio in a region
- Co-create an effective sales strategy for selected markets and constantly monitor market trends
- Take responsibility for effective sales strategy execution in a region
- Utilize strategic client hunting practices, industry/market analysis, internal communication, external promotions, and constant in-depth client analysis to uncover revenue opportunities
- Build, manage and accurately forecast a strong Sales Pipeline
- Collaborate closely with our regional and global alliances (like AWS, Microsoft, GCP, Databricks) to strengthen sales opportunities
- Build in-depth knowledge of clients' business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into opportunities
- Drive the development of best-in-class RFP submissions that strategically map Xebia capabilities to specific Client needs
- Confidently represent the Xebia values, market positioning and capabilities in all conversations with our Clients and Partners
- Build strategic, long-term relationships with key contacts at target Xebia Clients
- Cooperate with top experts in the industry across the globe
- Travel to clientsβ locations and Xebia offices
Preferred Qualifications
Good understanding of Cloud and Data offering market
