Requirements

  • Experience demonstrating a software solution via the internet (to a close is a plus)
  • Exceptional communication skills and a proven record of high achievement
  • The ability to work collaboratively to achieve common goals
  • Confidence, high desire to succeed, and self-motivated (works well in a fast-paced environment)
  • Attention to detail; well-organized, and able to accept and adapt to change
  • Proficiency with a CRM such as Salesforce
  • At least 1 year of lead development, inside sales, or similar experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google Suite

Responsibilities

  • Create new revenue-generating opportunities by identifying and educating prospects, articulating a clear value proposition, and securing a commitment for demonstrations in an assigned territory
  • Conduct high volume prospecting, utilizing multiple touchpoints including up to 50-60 calls and/or emails daily, and social media engagement (i.e., LinkedIn & Zoominfo) to qualify leads/prospects
  • Work closely with Outside Representatives and Marketing to implement and execute strategies and processes that will help secure assigned goals
  • Provide event (trade shows, webinars) and pre/post-sales support as required
  • Provide accurate and timely updates to Salesforce and management as required
  • Consistently achieve and exceed quotas and goals
  • Conduct yourself professionally and represent Appspace/Marlin in a positive manner
  • Generate appointments utilizing proactive outbound prospecting
  • Work directly with sales and marketing to discover opportunities from leads
  • Demonstrate and teach strong selling and influencing skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experienced in software sales with prior SaaS company/industry experience a plus
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree or comparable business experience preferred
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced & exciting environment
