Summary

Join Garner's growing marketing team as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and contribute to our mission of improving the U.S. healthcare system. You will generate qualified meetings and pipeline, exceeding activity metrics, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams. Leverage your skills in outbound calling, Salesforce, Hubspot, and ZoomInfo to research accounts, identify key targets, and conduct high-level discovery conversations. This role requires 1-3 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills. Garner offers a competitive salary ($65,000-$75,000), commission eligibility, equity incentives, and benefits including flexible PTO, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and Teladoc.

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years relevant work experience
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills and strong writing skills
  • Inbound and outbound calling experience
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Hubspot,and ZoomInfo
  • A willingness to โ€œroll up your sleevesโ€ and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success

Responsibilities

  • Generating qualified meetings and pipeline for Garnerโ€™s revenue organization
  • Meet or exceed BDR activity metrics set forth
  • Work with and leverage sales teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities
  • Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key targets, generate interest, identify compelling events, and develop accounts
  • Conduct high-level discovery conversation in target accounts
  • Manage, track and report on all activities using Salesforce
  • Work in collaboration with Growth Marketing to drive attendance at regional and national events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare a plus
  • Experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment with notable upside preferred
  • A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system
