Summary
Join Bainbridge/BC Analytics as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities in private equity and M&A. This remote, full-time position offers a competitive base salary ($50,000-$65,000) plus a performance-based bonus structure, with an OTE of $70,000-$110,000+. Responsibilities include conducting outbound sales calls, qualifying leads, setting appointments, creating compelling messaging, collaborating with the sales team, meeting targets, maintaining CRM records, and reporting on results. The ideal candidate possesses a BA/BS degree in a related field, 2+ years of outbound sales experience in a professional service environment, and demonstrated business acumen and communication skills. Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- 2 years minimum proven experience in outbound sales, cold calling, or lead generation in a professional service environment
- Demonstrated business acumen and excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate service offerings and value propositions effectively
- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and delivering results
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools
- Professional demeanor with proven ability to serve the C-Suite
- Collaborate and communicate with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies
Responsibilities
- Conduct extensive outbound sales calls to prospective clients to initiate the M&A deal process
- Qualify leads and set appointments for sales executives through effective communication and active listening
- Create compelling messaging tailored to the needs of different prospect segments
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and appointment setting targets
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions in our CRM system
- Track and report on activity and results to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of sales goals
- Continuously improve your knowledge of our products/services, industry trends, and competitive landscape
Preferred Qualifications
- FINRA licensing highly preferred
- Prior experience in financial services, such as wealth management, highly preferred
- Adept at handling objections and overcoming challenges in a professional manner
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a plus
