Summary
Join Evolv's growing team as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and play a vital role in identifying and engaging key accounts. You will leverage industry insights and cutting-edge sales technology to build relationships, generate qualified leads, and contribute to the team's success. Over the first year, you will achieve monthly and quarterly targets, exceed prospecting goals, and develop a strong understanding of the security technology landscape. This largely remote role supports West Coast territories and requires Pacific Time hours, with occasional travel. The position offers a competitive salary, commission, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify and qualify high-value target accounts aligned with the company's strategic goals
- Utilize a combination of online and offline prospecting techniques, including social selling platforms like LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, to identify and connect with key decision-makers
- Convert inbound leads generated through digital platforms and field marketing
- Conduct qualification calls to understand potential clients' needs and pain points and qualify them as genuine sales opportunities
- Engage with qualified leads, build rapport, and foster long-term relationships with key contacts within target accounts
- Work closely with the BDR Senior Manager, Account Executives, and Sales Directors to develop and implement territory and account-specific strategies and collaborate with the wider sales team to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads
- Prepare accurate and timely reports on prospecting activities, lead generation, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Be adept at utilizing sales technology such as Salesforce, and Salesforce Sales Engagement, to manage leads, track progress, and execute effective outreach strategies
