Summary
Join Firmex, a global software-as-a-service provider, as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and become a key member of our sales team. You will focus on developing and qualifying new sales opportunities for the Sales Executive team, working closely with marketing to develop and execute prospecting plans. A successful BDR will possess a hunter's mentality and strive to meet monthly targets. This role involves prospecting for new business, identifying prospect pain points, building contact lists, collaborating with other teams, and recording sales activity in Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have B2B sales experience or be a recent graduate eager to start a career in B2B technology sales.
Requirements
- 6-12 months of B2B sales experience or a recent post-secondary graduate eager to begin a career in B2B technology sales

- Excellent written, presentation, and demonstration skills

Responsibilities
- Prospect for new business opportunities within existing and greenfield accounts through cold call and email outreach
- Identify prospect pain points and clearly articulate the Firmex value proposition to drive further interest in a call or product demonstration with the Sales Executive team
- Build contact lists of highly qualified prospects using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo
- Collaborate with marketing and Sales Executive teams to execute campaigns focused on driving demand within targeted industries and strategic accounts
- Record all sales activity and intelligence in Salesforce.com and report on success metrics
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Groove
