Summary

Join Vidyard's Sales Pipeline team as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and play a key role in generating sales opportunities. You will strategically source and qualify leads through outbound efforts, leveraging video, email, phone, and social media. Collaborate with Account Executives, Account Managers, and Marketing to target key accounts and research new prospects. Conduct high-level conversations to drive new business and meet monthly quotas. This role offers exposure to various outbound activities, daily interaction with your team, and opportunities for skill and career development within a collaborative sales organization. You will work closely with the Account Executive and Account Management teams to generate new business and upsell opportunities. Requirements

  • You have experience in a BDR role
  • You are excited to hunt for new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline
  • You have an ability to strategically research and develop accounts for prospecting
  • You are comfortable cold calling

Responsibilities

  • Construct strategic B2B account prospecting lists and target them
  • Examine data around existing free users of our tool and work to convert them to paying customers
  • Build consultative relationships with Marketing & Sales leaders to understand wants/needs of an organization
  • Leverage video, phone, email, and social selling techniques to breakthrough to prospective customers
  • Own weekly and monthly goals centered around activity & pipeline generation
  • Be exposed to a high volume of various outbound pipeline generation activities that will afford you the opportunity to hone your skills as a salesperson
  • Have daily interaction with your direct manager, teammates, or both, with a major focus on skill and career development
  • Network with fellow BDRs as well as AEs, and Sales leaders in our tight-knit and collaborative sales organization
  • Have designated pathways forward that will help foster your career growth within our sales organization
  • Work closely with the Account Executive Team to generate new business opportunities and Account Management Team to drive strategic upsell opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience prospecting into an existing customer base is an asset
