Summary

Modern Life is hiring a Business Development Representative to join their Brokerage team. The role involves making outbound calls, finding new leads, and participating in daily team huddles. The candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in an outbound sales role, preferably in financial services or insurance. The base salary range is $45,000 to $55,000 with an OTE of $55,000 to $70,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Spend 75% of your day making outbound phone calls to our target advisors
• Add 10+ new sales-qualified leads per week through creative outbound prospecting
• Leverage sales tools such as Hubspot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to maximize effectiveness
• Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly metrics
• Participate in daily team huddles to celebrate wins and share goals
• Shape, iterate, and scale our sales practices - taking initiative to improve the team’s practices, tools, and content
• Help foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and innovation across the team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in financial services or insurance is preferred

Base salary range for this role is $45,000 to $55,000 and OTE is $55,000 to $70,000 annually
