Summary

Join Pharos, a leading PrintOps technology company, as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and contribute to the growth of our sales and marketing efforts. This role focuses on generating interest in our industry-leading products and services within our target market. You will develop sales pipelines, engage prospects through various communication channels, and transition qualified leads to account executives. The position requires achieving monthly targets and maintaining accurate CRM data. You will also capture business insights and act as a brand ambassador. This hybrid or remote role offers a competitive base salary, uncapped commission, and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in sales, customer service, or client-facing roles
  • Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop pipeline utilizing a defined methodology to educate, nurture and convert leads into qualified sales opportunities
  • Identify and engage prospects through various communication channels, including phone, email, social media, and targeted marketing campaigns leveraging a variety of tools, in creative approaches to break through the noise
  • Providing a best-in-class handoff, transition qualified leads to the appropriate account executive for further engagement
  • Achieve monthly SLA targets, including activity, meetings set for AEs, and pipeline generated
  • Utilize multiple communication channels to schedule appointments, ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Update the Salesforce CRM database with accurate and relevant information to maintain a comprehensive activity history to track interactions and progress
  • Capture and share valuable business insights through meaningful interactions with prospects and gather critical data that contributes to the enhancement of our sales strategy
  • Be a brand ambassador to uphold the company's reputation through professionalism and adherence to our core values across all client and community interactions
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, market insights as well as continuously acquire technical, competitive, and sales skills knowledge to remain agile and relevant in the ever-evolving business landscape

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience with outbound calls preferred
  • You’re an experienced BDR (or sales pro): You have a proven track record of success in a similar role. You’re looking to build on that foundation, sharpen your skills, and grow into a bigger opportunity
  • You love the thrill of pipeline generation, and you’re always hunting for the next “yes”
  • Or, you bring the right ingredients and are ready to grow: We’re looking for grit, curiosity, and a love for connecting with people. You may not have carried the BDR title before, but if you’ve thrived in high-touch customer service, inside sales, hospitality, or outbound roles and you're eager to grow in tech sales, we want to hear from you
