Summary
Join a leading provider of Unified Communications (UC) and Audio-Video (AV) solutions for global enterprise organizations as a Business Development Representative (BDR). This fully-remote position requires you to generate new leads, qualify prospects, and set up warm opportunities for the sales team. You will be responsible for outbound outreach, cold calling, and initial lead qualification, working closely with the demand generation team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a sales development, BDR, call center, or outbound sales role, preferably in B2B, and possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 1β2 years of experience in a sales development, BDR, call center, or outbound sales role (preferably in B2B)
- Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable with rejection
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced sales environment
- Familiarity with CRMs (HubSpot experience is a plus, but not required)
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate new leads and qualify prospects
- Follow up with inbound leads to ensure prompt engagement and appointment setting
- Ensure meetings are properly booked, confirmed , and that prospects show up prepared
- Learn and articulate the value proposition of complex UC/AV solutions to IT and business decision-makers
- Maintain accurate and detailed CRM records using Salesforce (or equivalent) and provide timely updates to the sales team
- Partner closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience in a high-volume metrics or call center environment is preferred
- Familiarity with the enterprise UC/AV or IT services space
- Prior experience selling or prospecting into Fortune 500 accounts
- Exposure to Salesforce or similar CRMs
- Understanding of outbound automation tools and B2B sales sequences
