This strategic role focuses on developing and implementing strategies for targeting enterprise accounts in specified verticals, including fintech, financial services, marketplaces, and e-commerce. You will confidently overcome objections, support a sales team, utilize CRM and sales automation tools, and identify key accounts. This is not a traditional BDR role; it emphasizes quality over quantity, focusing on personalization and high-quality leads. The position requires 2+ years of experience in an enterprise BDR role, preferably in fraud, risk, or compliance. Sardine offers a remote-first work culture and a competitive compensation package.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in an enterprise BDR role, preferably within the fraud, risk, or compliance space
  • In-depth knowledge of financial institutions and the FinTech landscape
  • Proficiency in outbound sales processes and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Apollo, Zoominfo and HubSpot)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated and hungry for success
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to find innovative ways to break into top accounts
  • Excellent time management, communication skills (both written and verbal), and interpersonal abilities
  • Process-oriented mindset with a track record in prospecting and scheduling meetings with potential clients
  • Willingness to travel (10-20%) for conferences and industry events

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for targeting enterprise account lists in specified verticals
  • Confidently overcome objections and guide prospects through the sales funnel
  • Support a sales team of 10 AEs for a smooth transition of outbound leads
  • Use CRM and sales automation tools to optimize prospecting, tracking, and account management
  • Identify key accounts and event attendees, proactively reaching out to schedule meetings for the team in advance
  • Partner with Sales Operations to streamline and optimize sales processes through automation
