Summary

Join Zilliant's Business Development team as a Business Development Representative and play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. You will prospect, qualify leads, build client relationships, identify client needs, and promote Zilliant's products and services. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, strong sales acumen, and thrives in fast-paced environments. Responsibilities include conducting lead research, cold outreach, lead qualification, relationship building, needs assessment, collaboration with the sales team, and accurate record-keeping in Salesforce. The role requires proven sales experience in a B2B SaaS environment, strong prospecting skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in Salesforce. Requirements

  • Proven track record in a sales or business development role in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Strong prospecting and lead-generation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Persuasive and influential with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify potential leads and generate a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Cold call, email, and engage in other proactive outreach methods to reach potential clients
  • Qualify leads and determine their suitability for Zilliant’s products or services
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients through regular communication
  • Understand client needs and effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings
  • Collaborate with the sales team and BDR leadership to develop effective strategies for lead generation and conversion
  • Utilize selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments for the sales team, including solution-selling tactics, asking relevant discovery questions, and highlighting customer pains through value-based conversations
  • Track and maintain accurate records of all sales activities and lead interactions in Salesforce
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback to the marketing and product teams regarding lead quality and market trends
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities
  • Occasional travel for meetings, corporate events, and conferences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in using Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Linkedin Sales Navigator or similar experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of the software industry and market trends is a plus
  • Previous experience in SaaS sales model with familiarization of software partner environments including Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, EPICOR, or INFOR is advantageous
