Summary
Join Zilliant, a leader in B2B price optimization and sales guidance software, as a Business Development Representative in the UK or Germany. You will generate new business opportunities, qualify leads, and build client relationships. Responsibilities include prospecting, promoting Zilliant's products, and scheduling sales meetings. Requirements
- Proven track record in a sales or business development role in a B2B SaaS environment
- Strong prospecting and lead-generation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Persuasive and influential with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify potential leads and generate a pipeline of new business opportunities
- Cold call, email, and engage in other proactive outreach methods to reach potential clients
- Qualify leads and determine their suitability for Zilliantβs products or services
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients through regular communication
- Understand client needs and effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings
- Collaborate with the sales team and BDR leadership to develop effective strategies for lead generation and conversion
- Utilize selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments for the sales team, including solution selling tactics, asking relevant discovery questions, and highlighting customer pains through value-based conversations
- Track and maintain accurate records of all sales activities and lead interactions in Salesforce
- Provide timely and accurate feedback to the marketing and product teams regarding lead quality and market trends
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities
- Occasional travel for meetings, corporate events, and conferences
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in using Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Linkedin Sales Navigator, or similar experience
- Knowledge of the software industry and market trends
- Previous experience in SaaS sales model with familiarization of software partner environments including Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, EPICOR, or INFOR
- Fluent or professional German and/or French-speaking proficiency
