Summary
Join our fast-growing global commercial team as a Business Development Specialist and drive growth in the Americas, focusing on large enterprise deals, Trust & Safety solutions, and channel ecosystem development. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will own outbound sales, partner-supported deals, and global Trust & Safety opportunities. This role offers the chance to significantly impact our sales strategy and infrastructure. You will be empowered to find scalable sales motions and your success will directly influence future hiring and budget allocation. The initial target is $750K ARR. This is a remote position, preferably in Canada, but open to other North American locations with required travel.
Requirements
- 6+ years in B2B sales, ideally within mental health, employee benefits, HR tech, or Trust & Safety services
- Proven track record of closing $100K+ ACV deals and managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Experienced in outbound prospecting and also comfortable co-selling with channel partners or brokers
- Self-starter with a strong bias for action, experimentation, and GTM iteration
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-regional team and managing ambiguity as we build
Responsibilities
- Own outbound prospecting and deal-closing across key sectors including enterprise buyers, global procurement, and Trust & Safety functions
- Test and iterate on outbound strategies to identify scalable sales motions for the US market
- Manage and close inbound opportunities, as well as collaborate with the Marketing team to identify new tactics to mutually grow pipeline (e.g. marketing collateral and targeted industry case studies)
- Work closely with the Head of North America to support early partner-led opportunities, including brokers, wellbeing consultants, and ecosystem partners
- Handle and run the end-to-end sales cycle for referral deals initiated by North or Latin America channel partners
- Represent Intellect at US broker and partner events
- Own the sales process for global Trust & Safety opportunities originating in the US and LATAM, including major BPOs, tech platforms, and social media firms
- Work with our in-house clinical leaders to craft solutions that address burnout, trauma, and high-risk workforce needs
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with commercial roles in healthcare, employee benefits and mental health is a big plus
