Requirements

  • 10 years of experience as a highly cross-functional partner within Business Intelligence, Data Analysis or similar role with demonstrated expertise in managing multiple complex high-visibility projects with multiple partners
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of professional level staff
  • Strong demonstrated proficiency with Snowflake
  • Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Visio, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling techniques and statistical analysis
  • Familiarity with database management systems and SQL queries
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience managing stakeholders, running requirement gathering sessions, managing a project plan
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Familiar with Github or similar tool for code management
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business intelligence strategies and solutions to drive data-driven decision making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into actionable insights
  • Design and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders that highlight key metrics across different functions and levels
  • Conduct data analysis using advanced analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security
  • Build the BI layer of abstraction with KPIs needed by stakeholders to measure business performance
  • Train others around building BI reports while guiding and coaching them on the concepts and complexities of BI reporting
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and analytics
