Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, information technology, communications, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development or capture management within the federal government contracting environment
• Proven track record of successfully capturing and winning federal contracts
• In-depth knowledge of the federal procurement process, including FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of technology and health technology trends, innovations, and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead the capture process for federal opportunities
• Develop and execute capture strategies
• Conduct competitive analysis
• Identify and address customer requirements
• Develop and maintain a robust short and long-term pipeline of prospects aligned with company capabilities and growth objectives
• Lead, manage and administer contract vehicles
• Manage capture development schedule and key milestones
• Utilize advanced networking skills to build and maintain relationships with key federal government stakeholders
• Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance our visibility and influence
• Establish relationships with teaming partners and subcontractors as needed
• Conduct market research and analysis to understand federal procurement trends, agency priorities, and competitor strategies
• Work closely with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for federal business development
• Provide regular updates on capture progress, pipeline status, and market intelligence
• Lead and contribute to the development of high-quality, persuasive proposals
