Summary

Join Semgrep's Partnerships team as a Regional Channel Manager and build a key growth engine for the company. This role focuses on expanding business opportunities with existing and new VAR/Reseller partners, increasing deal registrations, and conducting regular business reviews. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and the direct sales team to ensure seamless deal execution and drive engagement at events. The position requires 5+ years of Channel Sales experience in a fast-paced tech environment, preferably in security or DevOps. Location is fully remote with occasional travel to partner offices, preferably on the West Coast. Semgrep offers a competitive salary, equity, benefits, and a supportive work environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Channel Sales experience
  • Success in working with customers and security partners in various sales roles at fast-growing startups
  • Track record of success for 3-4 stints in your career
  • Highly organized and proficient in creating and managing decks, data, and documents
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 50%
  • Experienced in developing business plans and rigorously tracking KPIs with partners
  • Skilled in building and scaling partner ecosystems from the ground up
  • A versatile player-coach, adept at both hands-on Channel Sales and strategic planning

Responsibilities

  • Expand Semgrepโ€™s business opportunities with current VAR/Reseller partners
  • Identify and develop new VAR/Reseller partnerships for Semgrep
  • Increase deal registrations and partner influenced deals
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess progress, identify challenges, and implement action plans
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging cybersecurity threats to position our solutions effectively
  • Work closely with the direct sales team to coordinate partner-led opportunities and ensure seamless deal execution
  • Drive engagement, attendance, and enablement at customer and partner events
  • Exhibit high energy, drive, and determination to build a world-class growth engine through partnerships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, tech environment in the security or DevOps space
  • Relationships with cybersecurity value-added resellers
  • West Coast proximity
