Requirements

  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in channel sales, preferably in IT/software
  • Experience in a multi-national working environment (B2B/B2C)
  • AEC and/or M&E industry knowledge/background
  • Proven track record of managing and developing internal and external sales teams
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with sales teams and customers
  • Highly organized individual with solid time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong team player
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ability to travel (up to 20% of the time)

Responsibilities

  • Meet annually/quarterly/monthly-based sales quotas
  • Develop and implement annual channel sales plans in line with company strategy
  • Enforce sales and channel-related policies within the assigned channel partners
  • Oversee and manage contractual agreements with partners, introducing and explaining contracts and obtaining signatures
  • Maintain and improve established business relationships with existing channel partners by establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel
  • Provide sales training to channel partner sales teams
  • Motivate and influence partner sales teams to ensure optimal results
  • Act as the primary point of contact for managed accounts
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including channel marketing, support, operations, finance, and management resources, to meet partner performance objectives and support the execution of approved partner business plans
  • Participate actively in quarterly and annual planning and forecasting, providing accurate channel sales forecasts
  • Manage potential channel conflicts with other company sales channels by maintaining excellent communication internally and externally and strictly adhering to channel rules of engagement
  • Work actively with assigned customer accounts and channel partners on various sales opportunities, including local key channel customers, new business opportunities, and renewal and upgrade sales pipelines
  • Maintain a clear track record within the companyโ€™s CRM system, including partner contacts, partner classification, sales opportunities, and communication
  • Monitor sales results based on KPIs and prepare reports and analyses for sales management
  • Consolidate local market information regarding industry trends, economics, politics, and potential risks associated with the companyโ€™s channel business within the assigned territories
  • Map, qualify, and propose new channel partners to management
  • Onboard new partners on all sales-related topics
  • Build long-term partner relationships
  • Participate in and support partner events
  • Actively take part in selling and co-selling activities to key accounts within the assigned market
  • Demonstrate team management skills, guiding partner sales teams towards achieving shared goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in leading local office efforts and driving market success will be considered a strong advantage
  • Proficient in general software licensing and sales practices, experienced with different software licensing models and sales approaches
  • Familiarity with some of the primary CAD/3d design/ 3d visualization tools is optional but will be considered an advantage
  • Proficient computer skills - email, Google apps, and email platforms
  • Proficient in working with CRM systems (accounts/leads/ opportunity management, ticketing) - preferably Salesforce
  • Proficient in working with BI tools - preferably Power BI
  • Familiar with order processing and delivery tools
