Requirements

  • Substantial experience in developing commercial strategies and building teams across multiple oncological disease sites and product lines (high priority)
  • Substantial experience bringing to market lab-developed tests and medical software or IVDs, with a proven track record of driving sales from <$10M to >$50M+ in ARR or similar (high priority)

  • Proven track record of success in senior leadership roles, with extensive experience in sales, marketing, reimbursement, and business development in the healthcare industry
  • Experience negotiating contracts with commercial partners
  • Experience driving commercial success at fast-growth startups, specifically in regulated healthcare markets
  • Ability to effectively function as a player-coach, working across the spectrum of very small to very large teams
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and inspiring teams to achieve exceptional results
  • Experience with oncology and biomarkers is required

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy across multiple oncological product lines and solid tumors
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing commercial team
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to align commercial efforts with overall business objectives
  • Build a system to monitor KPIs, sales forecasts, and financial targets to measure performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to commercial operations, pricing, contracts, and market fluctuations
