Working closely with the CEO, you will be responsible for driving execution, building a high-performing culture, scaling the company, attracting top talent, managing costs, and leveraging data-driven insights. This role demands a highly analytical, results-oriented individual comfortable with challenging the CEO and making tough decisions. The position offers a full-time opportunity with flexible work arrangements, including remote work options, and is based in Dubai, Paris, or Lisbon, with a minimum of 2.5 months per year required in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a background in Tier-1 consulting or a successful startup experience.
Requirements
- 3 years in Tier-1 consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, etc.) + 2–3 years in a start-up
- Or Former founder (even failed) who built team + ops + product + sales — and learned fast
- Or High-performing Chief of Staff in a tier-1 growing startup
- Driven & Hard worker: You get things done, you love to work much beyond 9-5, you have a doer mentality, a bias for outcomes and want to be a beast in your field
- Strategic thinking, Analytical and system thinker: able to quickly identify and formulate problems, facilitate decision making, simplify complex and chaotic issues into efficient solutions and systems quickly
- Great At planning and execution: great at taking ideas and effectively initializing plans to make them a reality
- Comfort in conflict: you know when to disagree hard, and when to commit fast
- Growth over Ego: you are really at ease with receiving regular hard feedback, you love to learn, read, study, and you’re able to put your ego on the side )
- Digital & AI savvy: you’re able to build AI Agents (if not, demonstrate you are able to learn while applying)
- Inspired by the field of Edtech, coaching, personal development or training
- French: native
- English: Fluent English, you can hold a conversation on specific details with English-speaking colleagues
Responsibilities
- Drive Execution & Focus: exceeding planned P&L targets
- Lead Yearly/Quarterly/Monthly planning and OKRs
- Turning vision into OKRs, roadmaps, systems
- Integrate all major functions of the company
- Play devil's advocate with the CEO and determine when to stay focused
- Create a culture of performance, a tempo of urgency, execution & continuous improvement
- Set a high tempo and hold people accountable
- Build dashboards, metrics, rituals
- Address underperformance quickly and decisively
- SCALE: Make the company Scalable and turn it into a growth machine (obsession with AI possibilities)
- Design and improve systems, workflows, tech stack
- Lead automation, tooling, and AI agent deployment
- Solve root problems that slow down execution
- Talent Density
- Personally source, recruit, and onboard A-Players
- Raise the hiring bar across the company
- Track company-wide sourcing KPIs
- Make Paradox cost efficient
- Forecast requirements and prepare annual budget
- Cut waste, challenge spending, increase margin
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing
- Dig into the Data, find patterns, and make changes happen from them
- Dig into product, marketing, sales, and ops data
- Find patterns and turn them into actions
