Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a client-facing role within a legal, financial services, hedge funds or Private Equity environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Experience delivering excellent client service in a consultative role to C-Suite and senior executives

Responsibilities

  • Drive client acquisition through effective client development strategies and innovative marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on supporting the continued growth of our Legal Outsourcing practice with their client base (across FS, Private Equity, and Hedge Funds in particular)
  • Establish a new business development calendar of client outreach activity and campaigns
  • Directly manage a portfolio of early-stage new business accounts
  • Source and effectively qualify leads and new opportunities from existing and potential clients
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the Legal Outsourcing function
  • Take the lead in client conversations to gain a deep understanding of the client’s needs to appropriately sell in the Firm’s services
  • Work with Marketing & Communication team members to produce marketing collateral, including pitch materials, presentations, and client communications
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, client needs, and business opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including attorneys, partners, and other marketing and BD team members, to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with firm-wide objectives
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing and BD initiatives to provide stakeholder team with updates to make strategic decisions
