Summary
Join Sterlington, a growing international law firm, as a Client Development Manager and drive growth for their Legal Outsourcing function. This 100% remote, full-time independent contractor position requires 6+ years of client-facing experience in a relevant field and excellent communication and project management skills. You will be responsible for client acquisition, managing a portfolio of accounts, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in international business development and be comfortable working across multiple time zones. Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a client-facing role within a legal, financial services, hedge funds or Private Equity environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Experience delivering excellent client service in a consultative role to C-Suite and senior executives
Responsibilities
- Drive client acquisition through effective client development strategies and innovative marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on supporting the continued growth of our Legal Outsourcing practice with their client base (across FS, Private Equity, and Hedge Funds in particular)
- Establish a new business development calendar of client outreach activity and campaigns
- Directly manage a portfolio of early-stage new business accounts
- Source and effectively qualify leads and new opportunities from existing and potential clients
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the Legal Outsourcing function
- Take the lead in client conversations to gain a deep understanding of the clientβs needs to appropriately sell in the Firmβs services
- Work with Marketing & Communication team members to produce marketing collateral, including pitch materials, presentations, and client communications
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, client needs, and business opportunities
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including attorneys, partners, and other marketing and BD team members, to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with firm-wide objectives
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing and BD initiatives to provide stakeholder team with updates to make strategic decisions
