Summary

Join Team Rubicon as a Leased Employee, Client Services and contribute to our Long Term Recovery team! This temporary, 3-month role (with potential extension) involves developing recovery plans with client input, conducting follow-up visits, and documenting client progress. You will build rapport with volunteers, act as a liaison, and assist clients in accessing benefits and resources. Based remotely in Southern Georgia or Northern Florida, this position requires a flexible schedule and up to 50% travel. The role is managed through a third-party staffing agency and offers an hourly rate of $25.00.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, disaster management, business administration, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in case management
  • This position requires up to 50% travel and may require scheduled or unscheduled work during evenings or weekends
  • Applicant must have a valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

  • Develop Individual Recovery Plans that include client input
  • Conduct follow up visits to monitor and assess the effectiveness of services provided
  • Document comprehensive client background information, case history, updates and progress towards Individual Recovery Plan in both physical and digital files via online software
  • Prepare reports as requested
  • Assist clients in identifying and obtaining available benefits as well as social and community resources
  • Develop and maintain rapport with volunteers, acting as a liaison between geographic members and members in Team Rubicon’s Long Term Recovery Department
  • Provide support in identifying new capability opportunities within the scope of Long Term Recovery efforts and report accordingly
  • Develop and maintain partnerships and relationships across sectors and act as an advocate for those affected by disasters
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing disaster landscapes and assume other duties as assigned
