Summary

Join Experian, a world-leading information services company, as a Client Specialist supporting Account Executives in business development and revenue growth. This sales role requires strong customer service skills, focusing on revenue retention and expansion. You will learn client environments, identify opportunities for Experian products, coordinate client communication, and identify cross-selling opportunities. Collaboration with internal teams is crucial to meet client needs and provide product training. The position reports to the Director of Sales and is preferably located in Southern California, but is remote.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of consumer credit reporting marketplace
  • Willingness to volunteer for activities as member of a teamed account selling approach
  • A working knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM system
  • Project management experience
  • Skills in Outlook, Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience presenting and leading engaging meetings
  • Comfortable operating within a teamed selling approach with energy and passion

Responsibilities

  • Learn knowledge of client environment and processes to identify existing and potential applications and opportunities for Experian products and services
  • Coordinate communication with clients to implement product or service changes regarding security, membership vetting, and legislative requirements
  • Identify product-cross sell and up-sell opportunities
  • Research and identify sales and service opportunities for potential clients within assigned production center or specific accounts across all solution suites
  • Provide customer intelligence to sales and marketing functions to position our offerings
  • Provide product training to users to ensure client use of Experian services
  • Communicate client account maintenance needs and requests to team members
  • Maintain contact with product and service users to enhance client relationship
  • Collaborate with our teams (Program Manager, Technical Account Manager, Delivery, and Product Management) to ensure that we are meeting client requirements
