Summary

SmithRx is a rapidly growing Health-Tech company focused on disrupting the Pharmacy Benefit Management sector. The Customer Success Team helps clients derive value from their PBM services and builds effective relationships with operational leadership. As a Clinical Account Manager, Implementation, you will support the clinical needs of new clients during implementation, providing clinical expertise and serving as a trusted advisor for clinical pharmacy services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and Advanced Degree in Pharmacy, RPh or Pharm D
• Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license (any state)
• 3+ years of experience working as a licensed pharmacist
• 2+ years of working knowledge of healthcare benefits, account management, pharmacy benefits and pharmacy plan designs, or commercial health insurance
• 2+ years of experience working in a client-facing role with external clients (beyond patients and prescribers)
• Executive-level communication (including developing & delivering formal presentations) and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with clients and Implementation Managers to provide clinical expertise
• Serves as a clinical subject matter expert to support Plan Operation team activities
• Acts as a clinical liaison between the Plan Operations team and other internal teams at SmithRx
• Comprehends and effectively explains formulary and clinical program's value proposition to clients and internal teams
• Recommends clinical programs for new clients to provide cost savings
• Stays current with market trends and provides clinical market intelligence to clients and internal team members
• Communicates drug information to clients and responds to plan-specific clinical inquiries
• Creates and updates clinical marketing materials to support go-live activities for new groups
