Summary

Join Bend Health, a company revolutionizing mental health treatment for kids and teens, as a full-time, remote Clinical Trainer. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Human Resources, you will design, develop, and deliver engaging clinical training programs. You will play a key role in onboarding, upskilling, and supporting clinicians across various behavioral health disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a related field or a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience and a passion for teaching and coaching. Requirements

  • Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Nursing, or a related behavioral health field preferred, or Bachelor's degree in instructional design, industrial psychology, education, or adult learning and at least four years of experience in adult learning, employee development, training facilitation or a related field
  • Clinical Expertise: Deep knowledge of behavioral health clinical practices, standards, and documentation requirements
  • Training Design and Delivery: Ability to create, deliver, and continuously improve effective clinical training programs for adult learners
  • Instructional Design: Skilled in creating engaging, accessible learning materials and job aids for remote learners
  • Coaching and Development: Ability to identify learning needs, provide targeted coaching, and support clinical growth and development
  • Operational Understanding: Knowledge of clinical workflows, telehealth best practices, EHR systems, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess training outcomes, analyze learner feedback, and adjust programs based on data-driven insights
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work closely with clinical leadership, compliance, quality, and operations teams to align training efforts
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead training sessions and convey information clearly and professionally
  • Adaptability and Resilience: Ability to pivot quickly and adjust training programs as organizational needs evolve
  • Compliance and Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance, patient privacy, and documentation standards

Responsibilities

  • Design and facilitate clinical onboarding programs for new providers, ensuring a smooth transition into Bend Healthโ€™s workflows, platforms, and collaborative care model
  • Deliver ongoing training sessions, workshops, and refreshers for current providers to support clinical excellence, documentation standards, compliance, and member experience best practices
  • Develop engaging, scalable learning materials, including job aids, tip sheets, videos, and e-learning content tailored to clinical workflows and evidence-based practices
  • Monitor new provider progress post-training through evaluations, feedback sessions, and skills assessments to ensure clinical readiness and confidence
  • Partner with clinical leadership, compliance, and quality teams to ensure training materials reflect current best practices, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
  • Identify training needs through data analysis, feedback, and quality reviews, and proactively adjust or create training programs to close skill gaps
  • Support performance improvement initiatives by providing targeted, individualized coaching and follow-up training where needed
  • Contribute to the continuous development of a culture of learning, collaboration, and clinical excellence at Bend Health
  • Maintain detailed documentation of training attendance, outcomes, and feedback to support compliance and continuous improvement efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD, APRN) preferred
  • 3+ years of clinical experience delivering mental health services to children, adolescents, and/or families preferred
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience facilitating clinical training, onboarding, or professional development programs
  • Experience working in telehealth, collaborative care models, or integrated behavioral health settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing) and clinical documentation best practices
  • Experience working in a remote, distributed team environment is a plus
