Join PDMI as an AWS Cloud Operations Engineer and play a key role in deploying, managing, and optimizing our cloud environment. You will deploy and manage AWS infrastructure, automate cloud provisioning, monitor cloud environments, optimize cloud resources, manage CI/CD pipelines, deploy and manage containers, and troubleshoot AWS issues. The position requires 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud engineering and strong hands-on experience with specific AWS services.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud engineering, infrastructure operations, or DevOps
- Strong hands-on experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS Systems Manager
- Experience with Amazon EKS (Kubernetes), Lambda, Step Functions
- Knowledge of AWS networking (VPC, Route53, Transit Gateway, Load Balancers, VPN, NAT Gateways)
Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS-native automation tools
- Automate cloud provisioning with AWS Systems Manager, Lambda, and Step Functions
- Monitor cloud environments with CloudWatch, AWS Config, and third-party tools like Datadog & Splunk
- Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and security (Auto Scaling, Load Balancers, IAM policies)
- Manage CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline and CodeDeploy
- Deploy and manage containers in EKS, ECS, and RDS
- Troubleshoot AWS networking, security, and performance issues
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Python, Bash, or PowerShell
