Requirements

  • Must have had success with cold calling sales call prospects in the past and must speak fluent and neutral accent English
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Prior experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or sales (insurance industry experience is a plus)
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Confident, self-motivated, and resilient in handling rejection
  • Basic understanding of commercial insurance lines (or strong desire to learn)
  • Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • CRM software - Hubspot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho or similar
  • MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound cold calls to targeted commercial prospects daily
  • Engage potential clients in conversation to understand their business insurance needs
  • Qualify leads and schedule appointments for licensed commercial agents
  • Maintain accurate records of all calls, conversations, and outcomes in the CRM system
  • Follow up on leads and maintain contact with prospects who express interest
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine targeting and outreach strategies
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly call and conversion quotas
