Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager

Summary

Join Blue Lime Insurance Group, a growing property and casualty commercial insurance agency, as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. This role requires managing the entire account-service process, preparing quotes and proposals, ensuring timely renewals, and maintaining relationships with underwriters. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a solid commercial lines insurance knowledge base. The starting salary is $60,000/year, with performance reviews and salary increase opportunities every 6 months.

Requirements

• Maintain a General Property & Casualty license in Texas
• High School/GED required
• Ability to work independently
• Strong work ethic timely follow-up, team oriented, proactive, detail oriented, and dependable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and solutions-oriented
• High degree of multi-tasking and organization skills

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire account-service process
• Prepare quotes and proposals
• Ensure accounts renew in a timely fashion without lapse in coverage
• Check policies/endorsements/audits for accuracy
• Coordinate premium financing and the collection of premiums
• Maintain relationships with underwriters at appointed carriers and wholesalers
• Other tasks and projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial Property Insurance experience preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience working in an independent commercial insurance agency preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Agency management system experience. EPIC, TAM or AMS360 preferred
