Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 5+ years of experience in commission analysis, sales operations, or incentive compensation analysis
- Demonstrated experience in commission or incentive compensation plan design, with demonstrated success aligning sales- and incentive compensation plan to business outcomes
- Proficiency in commission management software (Spiff preferred but not required)
- Ability to read and write SQL
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas
- A strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical / problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset are essential for this role. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
- Accurately calculate and process monthly commissions for all commission-eligible roles across the organization (roles in Sales, Operations, Servicing, QA), ensuring adherence to established compensation plans and policies
- Validate sales data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure data integrity for commission calculations
- Communicate monthly commission payouts to management for review and comment, and address questions from employees or management regarding commission calculations
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for all commission plans, policies, processes, and historical payouts
- Administer and manage the commission platform, Spiff, including system configuration, data uploads, calculations, and troubleshooting
- Manage user access to the commission platform and facilitate the distribution of relevant commission documents to stakeholders
- Proactively identify and drive opportunities for improvement in commission plan design based on performance data and business objectives. This role is critical in driving alignment between comp plans and business outcomes and internal equity between plans
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Operations management and the Commission Review Committee on proposals for compensation plan design changes
- Conduct in-depth modeling and scenario analysis to assess the financial impact and effectiveness of proposed compensation plan adjustments
- Regularly review and analyze commission payouts against plan design to assess effectiveness and identify trends
- Evaluate internal equity, payout ratios, and other key compensation metrics to ensure fair and competitive sales compensation
- Lead and facilitate Quarterly Commission Review meetings with the Commission Review Committee and management to discuss performance, review plan effectiveness, and propose future adjustments
- Serve as a subject matter expert for commission-related inquiries, providing support and guidance to sales teams and other departments
- Plan, execute, and support on commission related or adjacent projects as needed
