Communications Change Management Specialist

Summary

Join SweetRush, a leading learning and development consulting firm, as a freelance Communications/Change Management Specialist. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy for the global launch of a new Learning Management System (LMS) for a client. This role requires expertise in communications and change management, with a focus on crafting engaging messaging and maximizing user adoption. You will work closely with SweetRush to develop communication assets and provide expert guidance on best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies for global organizational launches,tech-focused (e.g., LMS, intranet, HRIS) is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to craft communication strategies, define objectives, and develop actionable roadmaps
• Understanding of cultural nuances and success in planning the development of communication that resonates with global audiences
• Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, communicate updates, and manage expectations
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and experience in communicating LMS features and benefits to users
• In addition to the above, candidates will be required to provide a portfolio of work samples demonstrating their experience and expertise in developing and executing successful communication strategies

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing end-to-end communication strategies and launch objectives
• Defining the optimal communication approach, including timing, channel selection, and messaging
• Proactively identifying potential challenges and developing mitigation strategies
• Developing detailed communication plans encompassing messaging frameworks, channel strategies, and timelines
• Consulting on the production of engaging communication assets, such as emails, presentations, and multimedia content, in collaboration with SweetRush
• Providing expert guidance on communication best practices, incorporating change management principles
• Establishing metrics to evaluate communication effectiveness and providing data-driven recommendations
