Communications Coordinator

Summary

Join Wattpad's growing PR & Communications Team as a Communications Coordinator! Reporting to the PR Lead, you will support the team in daily media monitoring, media list building, scheduling, pitching, and various administrative PR operations. This junior-level role offers exposure to multiple PR facets within an innovative global company. You'll need 1-2 years of PR agency experience, strong media awareness, organizational skills, excellent grammar, and a love for reading and/or writing. The salary range is $55,000 - $70,000 CAD annually. Wattpad is a remote-friendly company with offices in Toronto and Halifax.

Requirements

• Have 1-2 years of experience working in a PR agency
• Be a savvy media consumer who pays attention to big media stories and how they play out
• Possess strong organizational skills, ensuring everything is organized efficiently
• Have excellent grammar skills and a passion for words
• Enjoy reading and/or writing

Responsibilities

• Conduct media monitoring and reporting, including KPI tracking and calendar management for the PR team
• Build and maintain media lists
• Support internal and external research for all PR initiatives
• Provide administrative support across the PR team, coordinating meetings, interviews, media tours, and other events
• Maintain internal initiatives and editorial calendars
• Perform copy editing and proofreading for PR materials
• Support media relations activities
• Regularly update and roll out copy changes to our Press Site
• Build and maintain Best Of media coverage for each of our WEBTOON Entertainment brands in North America
• Support presentation and deck development
