Join the Koch Internship Program (KIP), a paid 10-week experiential learning program, and gain meaningful work experience at non-profits nationwide. Families Empowered, a non-profit focused on empowering parents to access better schools, offers a Bilingual Communications Internship. This internship involves translating marketing and communications materials from English to Spanish and managing digital assets. The internship can be based in Houston, TX, or remote.
Requirements
- Exceptional level of self-motivation, detail orientation, customer driven focus, and time management skills
- Minimum competence in computer software, such as Microsoft Office
- Adherence to Families Empoweredβs guiding principles
- Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish verbally and in writing, without assistance
Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications Translation - Translate social media copy, collateral copy, and website copy from English into Spanish
Benefits
Interns will receive either a $5,500 or $3,300 stipend from Stand Together Fellowships depending on whether they are participating full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (28 hours/week)
