Summary
Join the Koch Internship Program (KIP), a paid 10-week experiential learning program, and gain meaningful work experience at non-profits nationwide. The program includes virtual professional development sessions with mentorship and a capstone project. Interns receive a $5,500 or $3,300 stipend based on full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (28 hours/week) commitment. This Communications Internship at the Empire Center for Public Policy offers a chance to work closely with the president and policy experts. The position can be full-time or part-time, and may be performed in person or remotely. Successful candidates will interview with both the non-profit and Stand Together Fellowships staff.
Responsibilities
- Create communications and marketing materials (for digital as well as print distribution)
- Help grow audiences (i.e., email and social media)
- Assist with management of Empire Centerβs websites, including empirecenter.org and seethroughny.net
- Assist with executing email strategy, including a monthly newsletter, donor communications and press releases
- Provide general support for all marketing and communications efforts
