Summary

Join our team as a PR/Communications Intern and support the Dr. Gundry Podcast YouTube channel operations, including the Spanish YouTube channel, and other PR/Communications efforts. You will work with the editing team to review YouTube videos, create Reels, design graphics in Canva, write podcast ads/scripts, proofread Spanish transcripts, design Spanish thumbnails, write Spanish episode copy, and curate 'mash-up' episodes. The position also involves supporting other PR/Marketing projects as needed. This is a remote position based in Woodland Hills, CA. The ideal candidate is bilingual (Spanish and English), possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong eye for creating engaging content. A high school diploma is required, and undergraduate coursework in Communications, Broadcasting/Film, or Journalism is preferred.

Requirements

  • Bilingual, native Spanish and English speaker
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), attention to detail
  • Strong eye for curating attention-grabbing content
  • Strong ability to be self-motivated and dead-line driven
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Youtube experience / familiarity
  • Canva experience
  • High school diploma

Responsibilities

  • Work with editing team to review 3-4x Youtube videos per week (you do not need to know how to edit, just need a good sense of creating engaging content)
  • Create Reels from episodes
  • Create graphics in Canva, such as quotes from the podcast
  • Write podcast ads/scripts
  • Proofread Spanish transcripts for accuracy
  • Design Spanish thumbnails
  • Write Spanish episode copy
  • Curate โ€˜mash-upโ€™ episodes (3-4 videos on the same topic that becomes a new video)
  • Support other PR/Marketing projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience producing reels for Instagram is desired but not required
  • Undergraduate course work in Communications, Broadcasting / Film, or Journalism preferred
  • Experience producing a regular broadcast or publication preferred
