Summary
Join Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions as a Senior Community Manager Software Engineering and manage the community of Software Engineers across the company. You will be responsible for creating engaging content and offerings to foster active collaboration among team members. Key responsibilities include organizing community calls, maintaining the online community presence, coordinating training, and conducting steering meetings with leadership. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, over three years of experience in communication or marketing, and experience managing virtual communities. A good understanding of software engineering principles and project management skills are also required. Fluency in English is essential, and German is a plus. Remote work is possible within Hungary.
Requirements
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have more than 3 years job experience in communication or marketing-related roles
- Have experience of managing and collaborating in virtual communities
- Have very good knowledge of collaboration tools (MS-Teams)
- Have good understanding of Software Engineering approaches, principles (DevOps, Scrum, SAFe)
- Have experience in software development project and first tool insights (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins β¦)
- Have a high level of self-motivation and proactiveness in developing new approaches
- Have good moderation and presentation skills
- Be a good team player
- Have language skills in English fluent in spoken and written, and German optional
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the community management of TSI wide role-specific community regarding Software Engineering
- Provide role specific content and community offerings that keep the members actively engaging and collaborating
- Organize and execute Community calls, this including invite management, moderation and documentation
- Maintain and development of Intranet/ YAM-U community presence
- Coordinate and improvement of training offerings in different formats in collaboration with HR
- Organize and execute steering meetings with the community leadership teams
- Proactively define and conduct additional measures together with the community leadership teams, in order to keep the communities attractive and relevant
Preferred Qualifications
- Have strong communication skills
- Have experience in Community Management (virtual)
- Have basic understanding / first insights in Software Engineering
- Have project management skills
- Have language skills: English fluent in written and spoken, German optional
