Join a purpose-driven social enterprise in Sydney that supports neurodivergent men aged 18β35. As a full-time, remote Community Manager, you will be the face of the program, fostering engagement and building a thriving peer-led community. Your responsibilities include increasing event attendance, improving retention, and creating a self-sustaining community culture. You will work closely with participants, families, and support providers, delivering personalized onboarding, leading the Buddy System, and monitoring engagement. This role requires strong empathy, communication skills, and experience in disability or community services. - Disability or Community Services
- Psychology, Counselling, or Mental Health
- Youth Work or Education
- Behavioural or Social Science
- Confident communicating with a wide range of people, including participants, parents, and allied health professionals
- Comfortable using tools such as Google Workspace, ChatGPT, and Monday.com
Responsibilities
- Increase average event attendance
- Improve retention
- Build a self-sustaining, peer-led community culture
- Deliver personalised onboarding journeys for new members
- Lead and improve the Buddy System
- Monitor attendance patterns and flag disengagement early
- Maintain regular, warm contact with participants, parents, and networks
- Represent the community voice with empathy and steadiness
- Manage and support community engagement efforts across digital channels
- Contribute to the planning and execution of weekly social events at a high level
- Collaborate on the social media presence and client communications to maintain strong external relationships
Preferred Qualifications
Lived or professional experience with neurodivergence, disability, or youth mental health is strongly valued
