Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or related roles with a primary emphasis on contract drafting, review and negotiation

Responsibilities

  • Contract Drafting and Negotiation: draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, collaborate with internal stakeholders, ensure contractual terms are clear, concise, and enforceable, work closely with both commercial lawyers and the commercial sales team to effectively manage the contract process and close deals, prepare playbooks and other guidance resources to assist the commercial sales team with the contract process
  • Contract Management: oversee the entire contract lifecycle, maintain an organized and up-to-date repository of all contracts and related documents, monitor contract performance and compliance, ensure all parties meet their contractual obligations, utilize contract management technology to track contracts during the negotiation process and maintain archives of completed contracts
  • Risk Management: identify potential risks and issues in contracts and propose mitigation strategies, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Legal playbooks, conduct regular audits of contracts and related processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Relationship Management: serve as a primary point of contact for all contract-related inquiries, build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, facilitate communication and collaboration between all parties involved in the contract process
  • Reporting and Analytics: develop and implement contract management metrics and reporting tools, provide regular reports on contract status, performance, and compliance, utilize data and analytics to identify trends and inform decision-making
